这几天，Johnnie没有更新博客，因为一直没闲着，在处理《世界是开放的》这本书的翻译稿。有歪诗为证：
八月桑拿天，蒸汗何须钱。他人忙旅游，老夫把书翻。
《世界是开放的》这部书真的很棒，通俗有趣，实在是一部好著作。所以自决定翻译它以来，压力一直都很大。因为，好书给翻译糟蹋了，那是要挨骂的！
暑假以来，小杜等同学一直没闲着，在忙乎这本书的翻译事宜。前两天，我正式启动了我的修改工作。为了尽可能地提升质量，我又邀请了在河南的wxz同学担任第一读者。呵呵！这第一读者啊，可不是好当的。我在QQ里给她任命这个“第一读者”头衔的时候，就说，要她一边读，一边把“不通顺、不明白、不清楚、不好读”的地方给标记出来。这样，我在前面修改，改完发给她读，她读完再发回来，我再继续修改。
这不，一直忙乎到今天凌晨，才把“绪论”一章法给她。早上到了办公室，打开邮箱，收到Curt的几封邮件，他发来了他的照片，将来我要建议Peng编辑，将这个老帅哥的照片放在书中作者简介那里。同时，他还应允了我要他写篇《写给中国读者的话》。不仅如此，这位仁兄还将他这一阵子在忙乎的事情告诉了我。原来啊，他在录制一组共27集的关于在线教学的视频节目，边录制，便上网，供有兴趣的人去免费欣赏。
