Earth的创办者们总是扪心自问，获得世界一流教育的真正障碍究竟是什么？在Academic
Earth，创办者们正在努力探寻这些障碍并借助技术来寻找创新的方法，以提高学习的方便性。
Academic Earth正在建设一个用户友好的教育生态系统，使世界各地的互联网用户有能力很轻松地寻找、交互、和学习世界顶级学者的完整的视频课程和讲座。
Academic Earth的目标是将最好的内容聚集在一个地方，创造一种环境，使得这些内容很容易被使用，从而使得这些内容创造出越来越多的价值。
还在耶鲁大学学习国际发展时，Richard Ludlow就想出了这个点子。当时，在自己的教育过程中，理查德就采用了MIT的开放式课程资源，他深知这些资源的宝贵价值，但是怎么样使得这些资源发挥更大的价值也是他一直思考的一个问题。
Academic Earth是一个以为地球上每一个人有机会获得世界一流教育为是使命的一个组织。这个使命，听起来是蛮吓人的。因为这实在是一个过于宏大的抱负，Too Amibious I thinK。
大体浏览了一下，界面清爽，属于俺很喜欢的那种。涉及的学科包括：天文学、生物学、化学、计算机科学、经济学、工程、英语、工商企业、历史学、法学、数学、医学、哲学、物理学、政治学、心理学和宗教学。目前参与的大学还不多。从Academic Earth网站上看，似乎只有伯克利（Berkeley）、哈佛（Harvard）、麻省理工（MIT）、普林斯顿（Princeton）、斯坦福（Stanford）、耶鲁（Yale）六大牛校的一些牛人的视频。从使用效果看，不知道是因为我的网络接入速度太慢，还是什么原因，反正没看成！郁闷ing……

什么是假的？是那些课程视频？还是这个网站？
这个网站是可以打开的，但是视频看不了！难道是假的？？？？？
