           Yael Naïm 1978年生于法国巴黎。4岁随父母前往以色列 Ramat HaSharon生活并在那里度过了自己的童年。小时候看了电影amadeus后她便决定学钢琴，后在音乐学院学习了十年钢琴。再后来作为以色列空军管乐队的一名独奏，加入以色列国防军。Yael Naïm擅长钢琴演奏和吉他弹唱。

           第一个个人专辑 Man’s Womb，在洛杉矶由Kamil Rustama录制完成，2001年发行。可惜这张专辑并没有引起人们的关注。2004 年，yael认识了鼓手、音乐人David donatien，两人在一起分享交流各自的的音乐经验，花了2年的时间在Yael自己家的录音室共同策划制作这张专辑，专辑歌曲以希伯莱语及英语演唱，乐器有钢琴，吉他，沙罗，贝司，打击，歌曲曲风轻巧搀杂着一些人声，很多朋友，音乐人参与了歌曲的录制，如laurent david , yoed nir ,xavier tribolet , julien feltin ,等等。

           单曲 New Soul 为苹果最新笔记型电脑MacBook Air 广告曲。甜美的歌声配上舒服的民谣曲风，令人爱不释手！
