EduBlog Awards是教育领域最草根和最具影响力的奖项，自2004年以来，每年EduBlog都会提名投票和发布获奖名单。EduBlog Awards的目的在于促进和展示这些社会性媒介的教育价值（to promote and demonstrate the educational values of these social media)。这些获奖博客网站经历了三个阶段之后，才被遴选出来。这三个阶段分别是：提名、投票、获奖。提名阶段每年大约自11月开始，任何人都可以提名自己喜爱的教育博客网站。提名者需要先将自己提名的博客网站发布到自己的博客上，并将其链接到EduBlog网站。12月开始进行投票，12月中旬开始在线发布获奖名单。
2012年的奖项包括：最佳个人博客(Best individual blog)、最佳个人推特（Best individual tweeter）、最佳群组博客（Best group blog）、最佳新闻博客（Best new blog）、最佳班级博客（Best class blog)、最佳学生博客（Best student blog）、最佳教育技术/资源分享博客（Best ed tech / resource sharing blog）、最具影响力博客文章（Most influential blog post）、最佳推特（Best twitter hashtag）、最佳教师博客(Best teacher blog)、最佳图书馆员/推书馆博客（Best librarian / library blog）、最佳学校管理者博客（Best School Administrator blog）、最佳免费网络工具（Best free web tool）、最佳音频/视频/视觉教育应用（Best educational use of audio / video / visual）、最佳教育维基（Best educational wiki）、最佳教育播客（Best educational podcast）、最佳开放播客/非会议/Webinar系列（Best open PD / unconference / webinar series）、最佳社会性网络教育应用（Best educational use of a social network）、终身成就奖（Lifetime achievement）等19个奖项。
2012年度获得EduBlog Awards最佳教育技术/资源分享博客（Best ed tech / resource sharing blog）奖的是Free Technology for Teachers-Richard Byrne。获得最具影响力博客文章（Most influential blog post）奖的是：Jaden’s Awesome Blog – Ten things I’ve learned from blogging。更多获奖信息，请访问http://edublogawards.com/。
